@Jimmy - Can you elaborate on overcoming nofollows? Do you mean I have to publish value-contributing content on the networks without SEO in mind or what? What kind of timeframe are we talking about here for gaining "credibility" on these hubpages?

Hi, this concept of link wheeling does work and it is very effective. I have been doing this same concept for quite some time and have found that the it really blows the crap out of local markets and offline markets. When this concept is applied to tiny niche markets or even larger niche markets it is powerful.
Hubpages nofollow can be overcome after a period of time and a few quality hubs to prove to them that you are not using their site for spam.

Cheers,
Jimmy R Williams

Alex, the links are free because it doesn't cost you any money to post on sites like Squidoo, Blogger, etc.

What is the free part? I think the concept looks interesting, but it is a bit misleading. I don't see any free option.

The idea of Link Wheels providing dozens of Web 2.0 properties that you can quickly build back links to, quickly increasing your position in the search engines by bumping your main site while also adding more of your properties to the top of the SERPs is informative.

Good idea, and I like the fact that they will be permanent links to your site but I feel like this would take a long time to accomplish something worthy of your time put in. I think I'll stick to my own link building campaign, but this is good to know for future reference, thanks.

Leo, good point -- links that have rel="nofollow" carry very little value. That being said, all of our links are dofollow links.

Every 30 days, we do an audit of our Web 2.0 sites and remove any sites that have added the nofollow attribute and add new sites to our monthly rotation to ensure the best quality in the links we create.

For more information on our process or if you have any questions, please send us an email -- help @ seolinkwheelers.com

It seems that Leo is on to something. I have URLs for hundreds of PR4, PR5, and higher that can be posted on with a reference box and it seems that if they have a nofollow in the code, it defeats the purpose of raising PR, maybe you'll get some sporadic traffic though.

how many of the websites used for linking strategies have rel=nofollow in the code? those websites are useless for seo/sem purposes.

Hey: great idea. I made a mini post that link to here. I'm glad to see there's no pingback link...and the "website" link I leave will be for my other site, just to keep with the concept you've outlined.

Awesome.

On some level, I'm not concerned whether or not it works (I hope it does though), it's very fun strategy at least.
